Hi folks,
I'm evaluating Accoustica for its spectral editing capabilities. I've been a regular RX user for over ten years, and I edit ADR and production dialogue most of the time. I have some questions on how to effectively do stuff.
Editing
I'll often "paint" out stuff by painting a selection with the blob tool, which Accoustica has, and applying the VOLUME effect, which I set to -4dB for example. I'll often do this multiple times to get rid of problems.
In Accoustica I've set up a processing chain with the volume setting and can apply it with default shortcut of ALT+A.
So far so good, but that's pretty much what RX can do, and I can change the BLOB tool size with a modifer+mouse wheel in RX. It requires accessing a menu in Accoustica.
What I WOULD like is to change the volume of a selection with modifier+mousewheel or modifier+mouse up/down.
Did I miss anything ?
-edit-
I did find the frequency scales.
